Giancarlo Nazario is today one of the most recognised bartender in Peru where he was named the bartender of the year in 2012. He is specialised in molecular mixology and for his background, he is also a teacher at the Local University of San Ignacio de Loyola.
Giancarlo career started at a very tender age in the USA, where he spent a number of years working with his craft. Once back to Peru, he fell in love with its wonderful local ingredients and begun a path of researching them to develop surprisingly new concepts of drinks based upon the Peruvian tradition. After his nomination, Giancarlo has travelled all over Peru and many other South American Countries as a bar consultant and also, as a brand ambassador of different pisco brands. Nowadays he already owns a growing ice company in his home country and has advanced plans for opening a cocktail bar soon enough.
