Rodrigo Soto Delgado
Rodrigo Soto Delgado is both a mixologist and a sommelier graduated in Argentina, where he worked and managed the bars of different upscale restaurants, such as Astrid & Gaston, Tegui and Tragaluz. He was also part of the 878 bar team, considered the first speakeasy bar in South America. Rodrigo is wholly committed to the research and knowledge of spirits, apéritifs, liqueurs, wines, beers and the craft of cocktails. He also focuses in concept creation regarding bar menus which want to inspire novelty and sophistication. Although lots of his work and experience were obtained overseas, he lives nowadays in Lima, Perú, where he established his own catering and training enterprise called GIMLET, which operates within the hospitality industry. He’s also one of the two co-founders of BON MIXOLOGIST, an educational program, one of a kind in Peru, focused in the appreciation and learning of spirits and liqueurs around the world, as well as the basics of classic mixology.
